Acne Treatments
Common treatments for acne include
over the counter creams and medications containing the ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide. Many cases can often be
cleared up with a few weeks of an acne cream regimen such as Proactive.

For severe acne, it is recommended
that you consult a dermatoligist to specificallly analyze your particular acne situation.
While treating your
acne, make sure to never squeeze, pop pimples or pick at your face. This can spread the acne
and make your skin worse. Also, picking at your skin can possibly lead to permanet scars, so it’s wise not to do
it.
What you should do is wash your face
twice a day with a gental cleanser to keep your face clean and control any spreading of bacteria. Also, you
should be avoiding abbrasive soaps and cleansers as these will likely spread acne by irritating your skin. If
you are using other skin products such as makeup, be sure that it is oil free so that it will not clog your
pores and worsen your acne situation.

By following these tips along with a
topical cream treatment twice per day, most people will see results within a few weeks.
